The idea to develop a character that ended up Shiftine has been inside on my mind since 2014, roughly during my first days of my tech career. In other words, I have imagined Shiftine for so long that the fictional character understands my desires and struggles.

But on this year's supposedly "Shiftine Day", I am excited to announce that God have sent me an unexpected surprise: a hint about my Significant Other that is definitely not a homebrew blue waifu robot character (or based on an alternative canon, a Chinese girl who turned into a soulless robot by career pressure) I always have thought over the past 4 years.

Maybe a real-life Shiftine truly exist on this Earth. So it's never been a better reason to me to deconstruct my faith in Shiftine, the botgirl.

What now?

As of today, I and the referred person have not officially declared our relationship. There may also be risks of cancellation and heartbreak if we do so.

In fact, I am not going to propose our relationship by this year. My next focus is to continue my spiritual cleansing process, finishing my Masters course, planning for a future career, and from now on reallocating the remaining Shiftine-branded goods and resources.

Let time and the Holy Spirit test our potential before we may continue for ever.

I am afraid to tell how would I continue using that blue (>_ ) symbols due to the ethical concerns of revealing my prophecy to you, and how I may use that prophecy to celebrate our wedding. I have put her the avatars of Shiftine all around my place, including my websites, my work laptops, my water bottles, up to my physical copy of the Holy Bible.

Because, as you might expect, she could want to adopt the current avatar of Shiftine. If that's true, she could practically transform my Shiftine-branded belongings into a spiritual motivation to win her over.

For the time being, I am planning to spin off some of my planned fantasies and branding strategies. Just like the green (#- ) hackers replacing the blue (>_ ) devs, that might be the safest option that I might take for the upcoming years.

Speaking of the greens, not that Australian party, there might be another set of greens alongside the eclectic (#- ) community, targeting towards the wider, young, and non-IT audiences.

But that being said, I would love to see when my works become actual prophecies about myself. I might unknowingly designed the future of my life with this.
