Starting January 2024, we will officially changed Nix, one of our robots, into Jilly. Additionally, the site nix.reinhart1010.id will be relocated to tldr.reinhart1010.id.

The reason we changed her name because we would like to improve her as a high-quality tldr-pages client, but the name Nix is also used as a package manager and Linux distribution.

And next, we also would like to introduce Simon, Jilly’s newest partner, helping together to help people understand our instruction. Technically, Jilly still works as a tldr-pages client, but Simon will work in a future how-to web app we are building to help non-technical people understand some technical things.

Yes, they are also now a funny anthropomorphic pair of jellyfish and sea anemone. In the future, we will refrain from depicting these ($_ )s as robots or cyborgs, like those (>_ )s and (#_ )s.
