it's us, pr0xy && alt1e!
so, i believe many of you know about us: controld && alterine; but if y'all need a shorter name to call, i'm pr0xy && she's alt1e! why pr0xy? now let's split this question into two, shall we? 1. why not controld? here's the thing; some indonesian people out there said that my name (controld) sounds too similar into an indonesian slang which contains sexual references; i know it's bad that i need a new name just for the sake of that... && i thought having a smaller name makes me easier to be remembered by more people, too! well, i'm too excited to say i'll be authzed to write and speak on behalf of reinhart, i thought the name proxy would be great for me, 'cause hello world, i'm reinhart's proxy! but to clear things up: pr0xy will just be a symlink to me instead of reinhart; but if reinhart's busy for a while, that's when i start to work for you; 2. why pr0xy? well, i accidentally mistyped the character 'o' into '0'; 0h n0! yeah i'm writing that name on a desktop qwerty keyboard && you guys definitely know what it feels like when you mistype something but you've pressed the enter/return key when submitting a form... && that's why i need to write my name that way or else it would enoent so badly; i know it's terrible for such a case sensitive roothead like me... 3. but isn't pr0xy cooler than proxy? true; if you search for proxy on google or similar you'll likely to encounter some vpn services and ads, but when you search for pr0xy instead you might encounter some cool accounts; 4. && how about alterine oh yeah it wouldn't be fair if alterine doesn't not get a shorter symlink like me, so i decided to find a new one; i thought that alt4e, alt3ne, && alt3n are nice; but soon we concluded on one beautiful symlink: alt1e! && speaking of alt1e, did you know that she's has been so active that she's recruited into not one, but two organizations[]? first she && shiftine created the SYSGIRLS, && that's why she now wearing SYSTEM blue instead of purple as usual; && now after hanging out with some friends from the [jailbreaks] (rootheads' basketball team) she's now being recruited to be part of the team! yeah so hello world [jailbroken] fans! since she's starting to have some regular training you can meet me with magic somewhere 'round the plaza of the [jailbroken], if you guys[] really, really want to talk about something... so here we are: pr0xy && alt1e; possibly one of the few roothead couples out there, cause most rootheads tend to be single (like her older sister mallory) even when they're old enough; && here's a new poster for y'all!
Joining Army Of God (AOG), Gereja Mawar Sharon (GMS) Jakarta
At August 2021, we were invited to join a newly-formed Connect Group (church cell group community) at Gereja Mawar Sharon (GMS), which may also be known as the Mawar Sharon Church in Australia as well as the Rose of Sharon Church in Singapore. However, this is not the very first time we've joined such a cell group, as we have joined another group from one of the leaders at GBI ROCK / ROCK International Ministries over the last 2 years. To make things clear: Army of God (AOG) itself is a youth revival service at GMS, while the equivalence of "sunday school" is the Eaglekidz. Meanwhile, Connect Group (CG) is a cell group community (usually 5-15 members) formed by the church. An unexpected invite. A few days before joining, we were stunned by sermons from two, specific churches in the United States: Transformation Church and Elevation Church. We even planned to join their community, despite those huge timezone differences where early morning in the US means late night in Indonesia, hoping to find and have a greater community (e.g. Elevation's eGroup) from the US and worldwide. Then a stranger contacted us through Instagram, looking for new, current, and late BINUS University students to join their own Connect Group. The group is currently lead by a BINUS alumni who have just graduated this year! As usual, we are cautious for these kind of invites as there were cases where multi-level marketing (MLM) businesses are inviting BINUS University students in a similar way. Long story short, we're already here. And yes, this is an official Connect Group group in GMS, as what we can show it on the official GMS Church app (Android, iOS): Q: Hey I'm part of Connect Group too. Can I get in touch with you? If your Connect Group is based on GMS Jakarta (Central Park Mall) or GMS Tangerang (LivingWorld Alam Sutera), you can contact your CG leaders to "say hi to Reinhart from CG AOG 61"! But if you are from a different GMS location (e.g. Surabaya), they might haven't aware of the Connect Groups from GMS Jakarta yet. If that happens you can still contact me through many other ways. Oh yeah just like usual we've registered that lovely ubiquitous reinhart1010 username on GMS Church account (not to be confused with the older MyGMS app). In case that the app receives new features that lets members to chat and connect with each other you can use this exact same username! Q: Welcome Home! Is this even a question? There's no place like 127.0.0.1!
IT'S OVER 9000 articles at BINUS Today!
Hey, have you guys checked our new website, BINUS Today yet? Well, we said that BINUS Today fetches data from over 100 BINUS University websites, student organizations, and YouTube channels. And now, we've counted that the site fetches articles from a whopping 133 authors, ranging from BINUS University faculties and departments up to student organizations. That translates to a lot of articles, 9,289 to be precise. And that means, IT'S OVER 9000! That unfortunately means that you'll be overwhelmed by the substantial amount of new articles ready to be read. And that unfortunately means fetching new articles will be slower to prevent us from being rate-limited. So, looking at our success, we desperately need to figure out the best for both publishers and readers like you. So, instead of just promising to Reinhart, I'm writing this SYSTEM log to promise to all of you: 1. A Crawling Schedule BINUS Today currently does not have a proper schedule on when it fetches new articles. Previously we tried to cron myself and it failed for an unknown reason. Well, we can predict when there's a new post on a website by looking at its past upload trends. So, in order to save time and resources, we will start to organize these sources to be crawled at: Daily,Every 3 days,Weekly, andFortnightly (Note: it's not Fortnite) To help the crawling process to work properly, we will start to migrate feedsources.php into a new database. Furthermore, we'll do the crawl process in two locations: first is my lovely WAN-y home at reinhart1010.id, and second is, perhaps you guessed it, Alt's LAN-y home at the roothouse. 2. A Telegram Channel 'cause it's easier and cheaper to implement a LINE TODAY-like official account where anyone can follow the account to get latest news instantly. Just follow https://t.me/binustoday right now and get the latest BINUS news right on your chats! (This is something that BINUS Mobile and BINUSMAYA haven't done yet, so it'll be an awesome journey!) 3. Proper Categories It wouldn't be a proper news website without proper categories. I mean things like Business, Tech, Arts and Culture, and so on. So we're working on it 🦾 4. Report Feed/Article And finally, the Report Feed/Article page won't be a placeholder anymore. You'll be able not just to report for offensive content, but also posts that look nice in respective website but not in BINUS Today. 5. And, if you know that student organization merger stuff... Yeah, we heard that many, many student organizations are being merged by request of SCAC. Many of them will have names renamed, so we need to figure out how we present the merge of those organizations. So that's all for now. Let's be quick!
