In January 2022, I decided to create a dedicated GitHub account for my automated bots, doing great things in the public with GitHub Actions.

And as of today, my robots are 2.5x as productive than I am on GitHub according to the contribution graphs. Note that I still can’t remove all automated tasks for crediting my GitHub account for some unknown reason.

That said, after 2,5 years of automating in the public, building robots and allocate them into a separate GitHub account was a great decision. Robots are indeed a great way to maximize your impact as a developer.

No, I’m not joking to impress recruiters by greenwashing your GitHub account, but helping them through your products that updates everytime. (>_ )
